MY ACTIVITIES
National Honor Society
During my senior year of high school, I served as president of the National Honor Society, which is dedicated to giving back to the community through service and leadership. At the time, our chapter had been relatively quiet, so I worked to revitalize its impact. With the support of my officers, I was able to plan and lead five mandatory club meetings with attendance rate of 80 percent and above for each. We later launched the Adopt a Junior program, pairing 12 juniors with senior mentors to assist with standardized test preparation. Throughout the year, I also coordinated and led 9 group volunteering events at the Rosenberg Railroad Museum, including a two-day project preparing for the museum’s annual Gala, strengthening our chapter’s presence and service within the community.

GREEN CLUB
The Green Club has a simple yet impactful mission: to safeguard our planet through small actions, like cleaning up trash on our school campus. Recognizing that we, as a species, have played a part in harming the Earth, it's only fair that we take responsibility. By doing so, we not only contribute to the well-being of the human race but also strive to restore harmony with nature. Joining this club has given me the chance to connect with others who share the same goal – protecting our precious planet.
Asian American Culture Club
In this club, students come together to celebrate their unique cultures and foster connections among peers. Our primary goal is to counteract Asian hate by showcasing the rich diversity within our community. It's a gathering of like-minded individuals, each bringing their distinct perspectives. Through this platform, I was able to showcase Chinese culture to my peers by teaching them Chinese phrases. Personally, I joined to establish connections with those who share my cultural background. By engaging with clubmates, I not only gain insights into potential career paths but also valuable information about college options. It's more than just a cultural exchange; it's a supportive network with shared goals and aspirations.

TSA
I recently joined the Technology Student Association, where talented students hone their skills through STEM competitions. Encouraged by friends, I'm now part of teams for Software Development and Video Game Design. While being the main coder for Software Development, I also contribute to the art, design, and storyboard for the Video Game Design team. My journey involves mastering various programs, including VS Code for coding, JavaScript, and the Piskel website for avatar design—all in the pursuit of club success.
Coding Club
This newly established club gives students interested in coding but cannot take the class an opportunity to learn and practice coding languages. It also provides a way for old coders like me, who no longer take the class, to meet and enhance their skills while mentoring other members.
